With over seventeen years of experience, Melinda supports students as they develop listening, theory, technique, and improvisation with growth mindset. Certifications include: Suzuki up to unit 3, Feierabend, Creative Ability Development, Mark O’Connor Method up to unit 3, over 10 years in El Sistema-inspired programs. Private instruction beginning at $32/30 minutes.

As a performer, Melinda’s work ranges from original violin music to chamber music to songwriting. She has performed as a solo violist in a mobile opera (Hopscotch with The Industry in LA), she has held a contract as a violinist in San Bernardino Symphony, and she has performed electric violin with a band as guests danced the night away. She performed with the new music group wild up in California and was violist in the Isaura String Quartet for three years. Rates are based on repertoire and time. Please inquire.
